<b>Natural Justice - The Law Of Cause And Effect, Karma</b> Natural Justice is the law of cause and effect operating, hand-in-gloves, with the law of gravity.  Every action begets a reaction or a series of reactions and what goes up must come down. This is also known as Karma (or Retribution in the Western world).  In simple words: "What you sow is what you get". If you sow a sweet seed, you get sweet fruits; if you sow a sour seed, you get sour fruits; if you sow a bitter seed, you get bitter fruits. As simple as that. Plus, if you flew up very high, you will fall down very hard; if you flew up not so high, you will fall down not so hard. Operating together with the law of gravity as one entity, Karma is very real, irrespective of whether one believes it or not, irrespective of whether one realises it or not, and irrespective of whether one accepts it or not.  If the monetary award is too excessive, without considering fairly on the income and financial position of the defendant, it becomes unreasonably and unnecessarily punitive. As such, the presiding judge becomes defamed by his own judgement. This is ironically laughable.  In addition, if the defendant is unable to pay back, he can declare bankruptcy so that he does not have to pay his creditors, is it not?  So, what really is the purpose of the monetary award? It not only does not un-defame the plaintiff, it becomes ironically an instrument for the judge to be defamed by his on judgement.  Two wrongs do not make one right.
